What do you want most in life?

For things to be complete, whole, and better. For moshiach to come and put an end to all the hurt and destruction happening. For people to be considerate and work together with sechel.
Am I just saying typical cliches? Absolutely not. This is and has been my dream for many long years and whatever progress there is, has been earned with copious amounts of blood sweat and tears. Unfortunately there isn’t enough progress.

I assume abie asked permission from avrohom rosenblum (the founder of diaspora) but I will do some research as to the original composer. which version do you like better? I personally find the diaspora version to be more natural
@2b, I never knew about the Diaspora one until you mentioned it and I searched it and heard a little clip on MostlyMusic. However, I know that I didn’t care for other Diaspora songs… I wonder what it says on the Journeys 4 insert. I also now wonder, are other Journeys songs not Abie’s?

From my knowledge of journeys I don’t think any others aren’t his, although part of “od yeshoma” in “dviekus” is from a non jewish song ( what can we do with a drunken sailor-irish rovers). As to my personal preference, I prefer diaspora’s version due to it’s sparsity(not sure if that’s a word). I like songs with periods of silence between the notes-a revach lhisbonien- I know that sounds weird but that’s who I am
So I finally contacted diaspora and this is what I got in response about abie singing dreams come true “.

so in reality it was his song, although it appeared on diaspora first
that meshiach comes, because the world’s falling apart. So many tzoros it’s terrible
