    Or has childhood animosities carried over into adulthood? Or, perhaps, new fights developed in adulthood that causes friction.

    ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!! We are extremely close and protective of each other. Our parents were niftar 19 years ago, and in their zechus we have kept our family unit strong, as they did with their own siblings. That doesn’t mean there are never disagreements, but there is ALWAYS love and menschlechket.

    I have only one sister. Aside from my wife, children and parents, she means more to me than anyone else in the world.

    Of course I do! I’ve gotten into trouble for protecting some of my younger siblings, but I didn’t care. Family is extremely important. Yes, we argue at times, but they’re still my siblings.

    ==> Caution! <==

    Think twice before posting (possibly) personal info, especially in what may be a trolling thread.

    I have heard that Neshamos up there get very disturbed when their children don’t get along well.

    The fact that I have a sister, wife, parents and children is public knowledge.

    What’s the point of this question?

    Baruch Hashem, I love my siblings.

    Ode to T613’s siblings, in the form of a free verse poem:

    Who else but a brother would get up at 5 in the morning to play ball with you?

    Who else but a brother and sister would go on long walks on early summer mornings?

    Who else but a sister would enjoy talking about your life but not insist on hearing details you don’t want to share?

    Who else but a sibling would make a deal that if I have a success, they tell my parents, and if they have a success, I tell my parents?

    There is nothing to replace a loving family. I hope that you all have a loving family, and if you don’t come from one, get the help you need to make one – it is worth it!

    No point to fight, Baruch Hashem!

    Wolf, I don’t think ICOT was referring to you. He was warning against someone posting their negative feelings toward their sibs. You have, from what I’ve seen, only expressed love and admiration for your relatives.

    Negative, positive, …basically anything personal. This might include number of sibs, age, source of friction, etc.

    ICOT and OOM, yes, I’ve already ID’d him (although it was subtle, I don’t think anyone but he chapped. You know, he is very “choppy”).
