Personally I like the brand “Amys” which are frozen pizzas and kosher. They are about 7 dollars a piece I think maybe 8-9 and there are a few types. I like to put onions and anchovies on them too 🙂 Good stuff!June 23, 2011 11:02 am at 11:02 am #787999OfcourseMember
Yay, Mendelsohns. Tastes pretty similar to when buying from store.June 23, 2011 2:30 pm at 2:30 pm #788000tomim tihyeMember

since everyone seems to be infatuated with “joseph”, perhaps it is important to know what HIS favorite frozen pizza is, or if it is even becoming for a yorei shomayim to eat frozen pizza.June 24, 2011 12:00 am at 12:00 am #788004GumBallMember

If KC kosher co-op services your area, they carry it. I just ordered some.June 24, 2011 1:26 pm at 1:26 pm #788009OfcourseMember
oom, Amnon’s is good. Where can one buy Mendelsohn’s?
Where do you get Amnons? I would think the same supermarkets that sell Amnons, sell Mendelsons. In Brooklyn they sell Mendelson’s in every kosher supermarket.June 24, 2011 5:51 pm at 5:51 pm #788010oomisParticipant

Was everyone talking about the frozens mendelsohns or fresh? I just got the frozen and I dont see what everyone else sees..or tastes.July 20, 2011 9:48 pm at 9:48 pm #788012charliehallParticipant
Why not make your own? Pizza crust is easy to make from flour, water, and olive oil. There are excellent kosher tomato sauces and kosher mozzarella cheeses. You can bake it in a pan, or, even better, get a pizza stone. If you are too lazy to knead the dough yourself, a breadmaker works quite well. (Commercial bakeries use them.)July 20, 2011 10:09 pm at 10:09 pm #788013
Charlie, IMHO, homemade pizza and a good real pizza does not taste the same. I also dont have NY water.- although nothing tastes like it use to.July 20, 2011 11:27 pm at 11:27 pm #788014mada-emtMember

I’m surprised that nobody here likes Mendelsohn’s. Really I would have thought at least one person would enjoy that pizza.July 21, 2011 2:56 am at 2:56 am #788017MDGParticipant
I also like Old City Cafe. It’s really soft and microwaves well. Just first break it into 1″-2″ pieces, then microwave for 60-70 seconds. Great snack.
It has a sweet dough, so even for Sepharadim it’s mezonot (unless one is kovea seudah).July 21, 2011 7:01 pm at 7:01 pm #788018apushatayidParticipant
