    Hello,

A couple of people I spoke to don’t seem to know where to go on their pegishas. I found this website called thedatemap.net and wanted to know what everyone thought about it. I found the hashgachas to be ok. It’s a new website but was hoping someone here has heard of it

Joseph maybe they can meet in the desert with his camel like you did with your future wife? 🙂

LB – do donkeys in parks count? They are giving donkey rides in the park across the street during Chanuka. Maybe I should have gone there on my date tonight. Too bad I didn’t think of it earlier.

“I found this website called TheDateMap.net and wanted to know what everyone thought about it.”

I would give some suggestions to the person who created the site on how the site could be improved, but he probably wouldn’t see my comments here anyway. I mean what are the chances that he is reading this thread.

The domain name for that website was registered 15 days ago.

TDM456: I found the page with the kashruth for various establishments. I have heard about most of them. If you have a specific question you can probably contact them directly.

Meno: I meant the individual hashgachoh. I recognized almost every one of them as one’s that are trusted.

LU – Just out of curiosity what is a donkey ride? I don’t think this is something to do on a date. I am not sure if a donkey can even carry and adult but even if it could I don’t think you (a female) could ride it in a modest and safe way. Here in NYC although they are mostly democrats we don’t have donkey rides although we have stables that rent horses who are able to carry adults but I think you need to wear pant to ride them safely. So as far as doing it on a date, I don’t think so.

    LU: LOL!

How did I miss your comment? Omgosh. What a wonderful Chanukah miracle. The gift of laughter.

Abba_S: It’s possible for adults to ride a donkey. I think that for nontransportation reasons you can theoretically sit pretty with your legs on one side.

That said, I do not support the whole using animals for entertainment kind of thing like donkey rides.

Ideally imho if LU was to find her beshert by the donkeys, he would be freeing the donkeys in a legal way and taking them to a magical sanctuary where they can prance freely without having to carry humans.

    But maybe that’s too liberal.

    Either way….

    Meno that’s awesome!

DY: Omgosh good eye..is that possible? Coincidence? But there are no coincidences. Just Hashem.

I was suspicious as soon as I read the first post. Then I noticed the username and that sealed the deal.

It’s like a few months back when all of the sudden a whole bunch of new users started asking about a certain seminary because they all heard that big changes were being made and that it sounded really exciting.

It’s counterproductive in my opinion. It just makes you look bad. If you’re gonna advertise your product, or even a friend’s product, be straight up about it. Honesty goes a long way.

Maybe the person tried being straight-forward and those posts got deleted?

“Maybe the person tried being straight-forward and those posts got deleted?”

So are you saying it’s OK for him to be dishonest to get around the rules?
