Is this supposed to be an overnight or 2-nighter trip? Where are you starting out from? Philadelphia is definitely full of attractions. Great place to visit (if I do say so myself) and not far from New York.

Go to Washington or Boston. Theres tons of historical things to do and see there just google it.
go to Boston. That way the girls can check out all the top universities there so they will know where they want to go go after seminary. There is Harvard brandeis mit Umass and many others.
