When you get a haircut have kavana to be mekayem the mitzvah of lo sakifu. If the barber is jewish(and preferably he should be), when you pay him have in mind beyomo titen secharo and lo salin. With a little thought you can transform your haircut into a great act of avodas hashem. Also have in mind that you’re getting a haircut to look good in honor of hashem. There are diamonds everywhere. With a little effort you’ll become very wealthy.
Were you nervous before? If it’s a shtickle frizzy/ spiky I recommend gell to smooth it out! I’m sure you’ll look great:-) cheese:) click! I just took a picture.
Even with gel, it still looks and feels wierd. This “yeshivish” look is interesting-getting a lot of comments from others. Was it worth it to leave them? Why?
