For those who celebrate Thanksgiving (and even for those who don’t).
Columbus set sail looking for a direct sea route to India (Hodu).
The native American bird we eat on Thanksgiving is the Turkey (Hodu).
Lastly, is the name Thanksgiving (Hodu).
I personally thank Hashem that I was born and raised in the USA. Eretz Yirael is my home and my favorite land. America is my country and I appreciate the opportunities and freedom found here.

And I as well thank Hashem for providing for them which allowed this country to be born. Don’t see a problem with that.

I HAVE tried to get a carpool, but have failed (They normally take a bus, but there is no BUS)
INSTEAD of keeping the kids home on garbage days like a week before Peseach or 3 days off for Purim, they Should be closed when there is no bus and the parents are home
