I work for a very special organization called Yedei Chesed in Monsey, NY which provides numerous services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families (www.yedeichesed.org).
We have entered a contest via the Pepsi Refresh Project attempting to win money which will enable us to provide psychiatric services to many of the individuals we serve. The voting takes place until the end of September and we need to get as many votes as possible.

My daughter in law is the head social worker who works for this amazing organization. They help Yiddishe neshamos from the time they are born to adulthood, to get all the help that is needed to have them develop into self sufficient adults, with H’KBH’s help.
Please send this request to every one on your email list so they can get this despretely needed grant.

I just want everyone to know that Yedei Chesed has been extremely helpful to my family over the years. My son z”l was severely disabled for most of his life and the support and technical help we got from Yedei Chesed cannot be put into words. This worthy organization deserves all of our votes so that it can continue to help other families with their special needs children. Keep up the great work, Yedei Chesed!
Mod–Are you serious? Almost every time I post, it gets deleted. This goes for posts in the CR and comments on news articles. It can be as simple as “Refuah sheleima” or “Boruch Dayan HaEmes”, and it gets deleted. I’m actually surprised that this went through.
I don’t see any such deleted posts in the CR.

Let me start off by saying I dont advocate people using facebook, however there were Tzedakos that won a lot of money from Kohl’s grants. Maybe you can get ahold of all those people that signed up to vote for those charities and have them vote for you?

Guys, just wanna tell you that Yedei Chesed is the most amazing organization around! I am one of those lucky individuals who has been helped by them numerous times. They not only help the special, needy child, but they take care of the whole family. They make events for the parents and siblings too. Keep up the great work. Thanks
