As has been pointed out, some people don’t like when the CR is flooded with (my) threads. Some accuse me of ‘coming on strong lately’. Others – well, to put it mildly, the opposite. So I ask all members, how does one NOT create threads.

You don’t create threads by not creating threads! (If you don’t create threads, others won’t complain in new threads that you make too many threads, you get my logic? {If I have any, which is doubtful} )
The thread that ends all threads is a seam.

You (don’t create threads) {i.e. you do the act of not creating threads, like ZeesKite said} by (not creating threads)! Understood? It can be understood in two ways. 🙂
Why, what does a seam have to do with programming. (I do know what threads have to do with it, though. They’re the stuff that chew up CPU time.)
My only problem is when the title is misleading or unclear, I always try to fallow the rule “be brief and descriptive”.
I mean this in the best way possible (eek)
but sometimes I feel like you create threads just to create threads… because you are bored or something. They don’t really make for much of a worthwhile discussion. But that’s just my feelings, maybe others benefit from it. But the clutter is… well… cluttering…

enjoying online friendship and camaraderie.

we tried to keep it confined to the General Shmooze threads but it keeps busting out
