What about responsible driving? Why did people get their DL? Speeding is never an excuse. Phone the other person to let them know that you are leaving later then expected. That way they know and you can drive stress free. This way you will give yourself enough time to arrive at your destination, and not feel pressured to speed. Another option (if you have an appointment first thing in the morning) is to set the Alarm Clock an hour or two earlier.
ames: One thing for sure. Do yourself a favor. FIND THE TICKET and pay it. Its waaaay worse ignoring a ticket. You dont want to be pulled over one day and handcuffed. That would be four offenses….no good.
About the ticket that doesnt say anything on it, well, have a hay day fighting it! You should definitely not be giving the City money for no apparent reason.

I’m serious. I hope you’re not. It’s pretty basic that one of the worst things you can do to yourself is not pay a ticket. I reiterate. You will land up in jail. There are so many confirmed stories about this. Do not try playing around.
You won’t get arrested for not paying a parking ticket. There’s no driver listed on the ticket, only a vehicle. The worst they can do to a scofflaw is impound the car.
If you get a moving violation and you ignore it, the consequences are serious.
