Would you announce it publicly like MOQ did, or would you just decide to quit and leave without fanfare?

Depends on why i left.
If blocked or had enough with the filtering process. I would open competing site, where the advertising is free, and the coffee room is 10x better.
Once YWN is out of business, they’ll realize, WE are the little engine that REALLY runs the business.
If i realized that I need a life, i would just stop reading the posts here, and not say a word. or maybe reveal ALL my names, lol joke, i only have one.

I have the feeling that I am somehow (even indirectly) responsible for your leaving, and for that I ask mechila. I don’t think I’m the only one to feel you added a certain something around here. Even though I sometimes (and maybe more than sometimes) didn’t agree with you (and voiced my opinion), I still hope you do check back at some point. Lots of Hatzlacha in everything!

i thik its good ur taking a break from the coffee room if its eating into ur other responsibilities. Im yirtzah Hashem ull get over the addiction and be able to start using it again without it interfering in ur personal life
Well stamagoy, some of us are just awesome multi-taskers
multi-tasking is evil, when doing so many things at once ur bound to forget at least one thing what if that one thing is to pick up a relative at the bus station? what if chalila the one thing is to forget you had the baby in the car because u were trying to do so many things at once (this has happened a few times in Lakewood over the last few years) yes it is hard to manage a large family but if multitasking causes you to hurt the feelings of your loved one is it worth it?
I may have to leave the CR in the near future 🙁
