I don’t think you quite understand what i am trying to say. The president is not a role model. The president leads the country. He has no reason to be a role model to your child, his job is to keep your child safe, healthy, and secure. Other than that he has no obligation to your, or anyone else’s children. He has a job mandated to him by the founding fathers through the constitution, not from the Torah. He isn’t Jewish, and has no reason to do what the Torah says.It does not matter that he is not suppose be a role model, but people used to look up to their leaders. On the side, the Rambam says that a talmid chacham makes a Chilul Hashem if he does not live up to the expectation of the people. The British royal family lost also this quality when they became close to the people, so they saw who they really were.
I worked with a Jew whose family was saved by the famous Japanese diplomat Sugihara. She has traveled to Japan and met Sugihara’s family. To say that Sugihara was immoral is the height of ingratitude. I am glad that you remain anonymous.

about how migrants are dealt with or is it American citizens?Trump isn’t a talmid chochom. So he isn’t perfect, he still has no good reason to be a good role model, he just needs good policy. And historically politicians were never good role models, they were always known as corrupt.
