If you’re not an Israeli citizen, then your opinion on the matter of Israeli elections isn’t worth a bucket of warm spit.
Charlie, I think the criticism is the larger than average disparity between when he is on and off teleprompter, compared to other presidents.

Here even the most frum chareidim vote in elections for goyim that support toeivah lifestyles, abortions, and other issues that are very anti-Jewish, and justify it to themselves since the liberal politicians support food stamps and other government programs for the needy.
In Eretz Yisrael, the government provides money directly to yeshivas, something unheard of in America, and yet many still refuse to vote.
The same types of people who live in america should also not vote, so as not to show support to a anti-Jewish, anti-Torah and unethical liberal democratic politicians, yet they do.

Whatever helps the religious is what every Israeli citizen should be voting for. Voting for Lapid or not bothering to vote altogether may well be violation of “Lo Sa’amod Al Dam Rei’acho” when our Yeshivos & Kollelim are so terribly hurting.
147: There are many different perspectives within the Frum world in Israel. I guess you’re really talking about Chareidim specifically, but for the most part, each one wants what is best for their own specific group.
Those of us actually eligible to vote, we should be voting for what’s best for the greater good that would bring Eretz Yisroel closer to the Geulah and not some self serving purpose.
While his party is small at this point, I have a lot of respect for what Eli Yishai is trying to do by bringing various factions together.
charliehall: I just noticed your comment on the first page. Every President uses speech writers, since they lack time. Reagan used to edit his own speeches and did write many of them.
The teleprompter is a different issue. It’s fine to use one, but Obama actually took a teleprompter into a children’s classroom to make a speech.
