Health, I originally posted against talking about him after the Old Man’s post. This Old Man has claimed and most believe him that he is an old time Poisek in EY.
Your naive for believing him. If he was whom he claimed to be, he would not be here in the CR.
Doen anyone know which teshiva Jackie Mason went to? Or who gave him Smicha?
Internet searches come up with nothing specific.
i assume a teshiva is a place where they stress doing teshuva as well as Gemorrah?
or perhaps you are referring to the multiple Telshe Yeshivas?

Sam2: While I do not want to go into specifics why, while he might be a Talmud Chochom, I don’t believe for one second he is a Posek, be it here or Eretz Yisroel. If I told you that your Rov and Posek, Rav Hershel Schachter, Shlita spends time in the CR, to either disseminate Torah, or pasken Shailos would you believe me? Of course not! At least I hope you wouldn’t believe it! I know my Rov and Posek, wouldn’t be caught dead here!!!
