Anyone know anything about the hechsher of KSA (inside a rectangle), Kosher Supervision Service of America from LA, under Rabbi Abraham Rosenfeld? A frum-owned and run store in Boro Park sold a food item with this hechsher to a friend of mine and she later on realized the hechsher was unfamiliar to her. She asked me if I knew about it, but I never heard of it before, and the store apparently does not take the responsibility for verifying that it is a reliable hechsher. I am bothered altogether that they sell anything that they are not sure is 100% ok, because they are NOT a grocery, so this food item (might be a spice, for example) does not NEED to be sold there at all. They primarily sell home goods.
It is well accepted
Thanks, guys. I will pass the info along. You always come through for me. Her rov is out of town right now, and mine cannot be reached until later tonight and she had wanted to possibly use the item for cooking for Shabbos. Todah Rabbah!
Maybe this will help in case you have any questions…
