Its Elul and we need zechuim for the new year, lets focus on some positive doing of our community.
Besides the obvious organizations the provide chesed 24/7 [Hatzolah, Chaverim, Bikur Cholim etc.] What acts of Kiddush Hashem have you witnessed recently?
    I saw two:
    1. I was donating Plasma at the NY Blood Center and about half the beds were occupied by Frum people, considering the total percentage of the Frum people in the general population i thought it was a huge Kiddish Hashem.
    2. There was a food distribution by one of the Bais Yaakov’s in Rockland, while it was intended for Bais Yaakov families, the word spread to the community at large and the numbers swelled to 10,000 Boxes of food distributed weekly, of that about 60% of those partaking in the boxes were Black of Hispanic families,
    Please share your stories.

    @ Reb Eilezer
that is more a halachic discussion, not the discussion of individual acts. this is what I want to hear, not a halachic analysis .
