Hi I’m looking to compile a list of songs of nice hartzig songs that can be sung at kumtzitzen, get-togethers etc.. I would love to hear the crs suggestions Thanks!
avraham fried has many hartzige songs!
look for old songs those are usually the best!
what about like baruch levine , we usually sing those , or miami boys choir english songs, i dont know..
Ask 10 friends what their favorite songs are.
Esa Einai and Yehi Shalom by Shalsheles, Tov Lehodos, Vezakeini and other Baruch Levine songs (also Vehu), tons of Shwekey songs (Vehi Sheamda, Mama Rochel/Shma, Rachem, Im Eshkacheich, etc.), Ilon, Acheinu, Yaale V’yavo, Hamalach hagoel
I’m blanking A LOT but these are what came up on the top of my head…
Here are some that weren;t mentioned yet:
Ein Anachnu Maspikim (Mendy Wald?)
Simcha L’artzecha (Carlebach)
Kavei el Hashem (Regesh)
V’zakeinu l’kabel Shabasos
Racheim B’chasdecha/Yibaneh Hamikdash
Go to Menachem Toker’s site http://toker.co.il where you can choose type of music and listen to Chassidic, Shabbos or Carlebach and you will get alot of choices that you would enjoy. Last night he played heartwarming music that would be excellent for kumzitz.
