    i saw an ad on ywn about “the great parade” it says it’s on lag b’omer but doesnt say anything else such as place and time. does anyone have anymore info.

    i emailed them to ask them what its all about this was the response i got:

    The parade is taking place G-d Willing on Sunday, May 22nd at 10:15 a.m. on Eastern Parkway between Albany and Brooklyn Avenues. Hundred of schools/communities/people from all walks of life will be coming together for a gathering of Jewish unity. The program will include different performers including: Mordechai Ben David, Benny Friedman, Avroham Fried, The Marcus Brothers, Shloimy Gertner, and Uncle Moishie. There will also be themed marches and roaming entertainers.

    The cost to register for a seat at the Program and Parade is $5.00 per seat which will include a t-shirt. Registration closes May 17th, 2011.
