There are many resources for Limudei Kodesh teachers–like chinuch.org–as well as online blogs where Kodesh educators can share ideas (or sympathize…). Does anyone know if there is any site, blog, group for Frum secular teachers (or even just secular teachers who work in Frum schools)? Somewhere where Science, English, History, Math, etc. teachers can share materials or bounce ideas off of one another.
Anyone?

November 12, 2012 7:16 pm at 7:16 pm #950703BYEnglishMemberSorry-to clarify: teachers who teach secular subjects. However, there are a number of non-Jewish and non-religious teachers who do work in Bais Yaakov schools and Yeshivos teaching secular subjects who respect religious Jews, and from chatter in the teacher’s lounge I know many would like an online place to find materials that would be appropriate for thier frum students. We’d rather not rely on say, LDS-Homeschooling sites for appropriate reading material or lesson plans, but chinuch.org often doesn’t have great middle- high school level chol materials.

PS
ALL secular literature, (except for technical books e.g. maths , plumbing, medicine etc.) are forbidden because by reading them one contravenes halacha (Jewish Law) :
