I just got my acceptance letter!!!! Im so pumped I cant even tell you. I had no interest to go anywhere else besides there and I was so relieved to get in. Anyone else plan on going next year? By the way – if you got in feel cool because apparently they had tonnnnnzzz of girls apply this year and they were really selective. Thats another reason I want to go – imagine what an exlusive group of 65 girls!

I was soooo stressed untill I got my acceptance letter b/c so many kids applied… now life is just yippy doo, happy happy! I’m so excited for next year!!! MR, here we come!

ahhhh!!!! i got it too im soo excited i cant wait everything i heard about machon raya sounds amazing i cant wait im so scared i only know one other person going!!! its gonna b so funny next year when were all like so whos … in the cr? lol cant wait to meet u guys next yr!!!
soo funny its the only school i wanted to got to i chose it cuz its intellectual and academic and the girls r thinking girls and its out of towny (im from out of town) and it has a warm atmospere where the girls r open minded (actually know wats goin on in the world and not just sheltered) and the girls are growth oriented and not just fakers and im obessesed with it!!!
from what i hear there r girls from chicago miami passiac la texas brooklyn and manhatten coming!!! its gonna b an amazing yr!!!
and queens baltimore and far rockaway… dont know so much bout other places im curious about places out of the country
Mazal tov to all of you! as a former bymrer (i know you couldn’t guess) i’m thoroughly jealous!!! but can i just say something? we’re also known for not being snobbish, which i’m sure none of you are, cuz otherwise you wouldn’t be going, but some of this is starting to sound ktzat, well snobby 🙂 no offense to any of you, as i’m sure you’re all fantabulous people, andi wish i was going back with you!

aaahhh!!! im so excited to meet you all… so the reasons i chose machon raaya was because of academics, the girls, and the fact that its supposed to be a really warm homey place… and yeah go out of towners!!!! cant wait to meet you all 🙂

Main reason I applied is because they stress real academics and learning but they’re sooo chilled about stuff. Then there’s the plus of being with outa towny girls like yours truly!!! I actually know two Lakewood girls and one Brooklyn girl from camp who are going, and they’re the cutest!!! I’m the only one from my school who is going. Everybody be my friend cuz I’m all ALONE!

machon raaya sounds awesome!!! im not up to picking sems yet but whats the dif bet bnos sara and machon raaya? cuz i like those two the most..
i think one dif is that MR doesnt mind questions rite? what abt bnos sara? more yeshivish than MR>
i got accepted to bymr tooo!!!!! im super excited, i legit screamed when i opened my letter!! im soooo xcited for next year and we are gonna rock the house 😀 its gonna be one of the best years of my life!
@ThePurpleOne i applied to machon raya and bnos sarah and i found there are many similarities and differences mainly the atmosphere machon raya is very warn easy to have a relationship with teachers where as the the atmosphere in bnos sarah is not as warm u have to initiate a relationship and it is very uncommon for girls to have relationships with teachers (bear in mind they are very chashuv and busy ) also the gorls machon raya attracts are more worldly and diverse where the majority of the girls at bnos sarah are yishivish both are great schools tho!!! also bnos sarah is mostly ivrit b’ ivrit (u have to write 25 page reports in ivrit) both bnos sarah and machon raya are very academic schools hope that clears it up keep in mind things change from yr to yr and the girls really make a difference so what each school is like now may b different in 2 yrs
also question for all u future machon rayers? idk wtvr it is where did u guys all apply besides machon raya? as i said in my previous post i also applied to bnos sarah and binas

i rlly wana go 2 sem!!! bt too lil… i wana go to a smallish academic ish in town ish sem w amazing teachers who cud have a connection w.. i like certain parts of dif sems.. machone raaya-worldly, trust.. bnos chava- in town girls, amazing teachers and bnos sara- academics..

@purpleone u have to remember every sem is amazing but ur never gonna get everything u want sometimes in order to get what u want most u may have to sacrifice something nothing is perfect
