Israel is best off when it is not beholden to any foreign government. Much like the argument Rav Yoel made against involvement with the state. We get bribed by the influence. Trump has good days and bad days and whatever he is driven by is hardly reliable. Biden was just a waste of time. Trump alters our good judgment more so. That is not a good thing.
AAQ Trump is a bad image for the pro Israel movement, He has made it more acceptable for the left to be anti Israel. And the right for that matter. It’s always been there but he speeds up the process by virtue of being such a politically correct person to despise. Whatever he espouses is by definition wrong. More harm than good imho.
Vs. Haley: Well he ruins our alliances, is all mixed up on tariffs disrespects courts, politicizes justice , sets a standard of behavior that are a terrible example etc.. Haley could have saved the party from all this.
