To me New York values mean “my way or the highway” impatient stuck up, and not caring in general for other people, we complain about a “homeless problem” expecting the government to fix it, but only because homeless people are unpleasant to look at, not because we care for them, 9/11 was an exception, not a rule, this coming from an out of towner that has lived in New York for a few years and starting to act like a New Yorker. The point that I find is a problem is I think a candidate shouldn’t write off one segment of the population just to make a point.

Sorry for rambling and if I insulted some people here, they are probably part of the exception anyways

Trump is scoring points for his comeback but he didn’t really refute the argument. Cruz made a solid argument about NY values i.e. liberal values, the way New Yorkers acted after the 911 attacks is commendable, but that doesn’t changed the facts about NY values.

The whole country hates NY. And GOP candidate isn’t gonna win NY anyway. Cruz wins this round.

I liked Trump’s invocation of William F. Buckley Jr. as a fellow New Yorker, although Trump obviously is the furthest thing from Buckley.

    Where do you live?

    Flushing, NY

That’s a great idea, but please answer the question – where do you live?

Lashon Hara on New Yorkers just makes them mad. You never know what they’ll do when they’re mad.
