To me New York values mean “my way or the highway” impatient stuck up, and not caring in general for other people, we complain about a “homeless problem” expecting the government to fix it, but only because homeless people are unpleasant to look at, not because we care for them, 9/11 was an exception, not a rule, this coming from an out of towner that has lived in New York for a few years and starting to act like a New Yorker. The point that I find is a problem is I think a candidate shouldn’t write off one segment of the population just to make a point.
Sorry for rambling and if I insulted some people here, they are probably part of the exception anyways

Cruz made a solid argument about NY values i.e. liberal values, the way New Yorkers acted after the 911 attacks is commendable, but that doesn’t changed the facts about NY values.
