If someone doesnt usually watch or follow sports, why should they be interested in the Superbowl. I hear people talking about it all over but these men never speak a word about sports. How come its such a big deal?

    Two reasons:

    All you can eat wings

    All you can drink beer

It’s kind of a pre purim warmup, without the matanos l’evyonim. Megilla, mishloach manos, and seudah are all there.

Probably because it’s the only sport where a championship is decided by one game only as oppose to a series. But it’s definitely not a big deal or even a little deal. It’s nothing at all. Like the rest of american ‘culture’. Nothing at all.

In truth its a bunch of hot air like all sports, jonnhy can hit a 3 or jonny can hit a home run and that does something for you? But its deep within the culture and media so good luck.

I feel quite fortunate. I enjoy football and get a geshhmak from watching the Super Bowl.
