To MCP: According to the miriam webster dictionary, slander is defined as “to make a false statement that causes people to have a bad option of someone”. I did not write anything that was not true. (By the way MOD – you missed that.)
I bentch all of Klall Yisrael that we should be zocheh to keep all the laws of Kashrus.

I would like to add that the laws of Kashrus should be decided that those who have studied and actually know the laws of Kashrus, as opposed to “Kano’im” who feel that their limited “knowledge” of what is horribly wrong constitutes a valid reason to badmouth a business that was doing a great service to the Frum community.

To repeat what I said was that everyone should have all the information available, and then they could decide if they want to eat there. Of course they could ask their Rav if that was their choice. I felt that it was a public service to let people know that something was going on that had never happeened in Monsey.
You of course may have your opinion that it was a great service.
May 10, 2012 10:05 pm at 10:05 pm #873807gregaaronMemberUh, there is a Dunkin’ Donuts and several Carvels in Monsey that are open on Shabbos, but, sure, don’t let facts stand in your way.
May 11, 2012 1:45 am at 1:45 am #873808Monsey MomMemberThe “FACTS” are that I wrote that to the best of my knowledge there was never a place in Monsey that advertised “Pas Yisroel” and “Cholov Yisroel” and was open on Shabbos.
I don’t think the places you mentioned are makpid on those items.

May 14, 2012 3:00 am at 3:00 am #873810gregaaronMemberAnd I heard from people in Kashrus (including one Rov in Monsey who is VERY relied upon) that it WAS reliable.
