Does anyone know why it’s always the orange soda thats spilling and making the tablecloth, your shirt etc. dirty?

It’s actually the grape juice that does all that.

We don’t have orange soda by us. Its usually grapejuice or coke that spills. Orange soda is good in moderation.

There’s probably some Murphys Law of orange soda. And it spills the most because its the hardest to get out. Simple logic.

coke is the worst because it doesn’t stain it destroys things. If it spills on the carpet it will “bleach” the color right out of the carpet. Coke is acidic so it does not just stain it changes the chemical makeup of whatever it spills on. Don’t try this. But if you spill it on the hood of your car it will eat through the finish.

Definitely the grapejuice that gets the prize for the MOST stains, most long-lasting stains and the brightest, most noticable stains in my house!

It is a well known trick for plumbers to help clean out a stuffed up pipe – JUST A CAN OF COKE!

Wiy – Grape juice is second to worst. Orange soda when it spills on your shirt it makes you look like a much bigger shlumazel, rather then when grape juice spill on it.

Any liquid except for seltzer will stain if it gets on your clothes. All liquids pill with the same statistical factors. Pure not from consentrate orange juice and lemon juice and vinegar will destroy cars and carpets quicker than coke.

Actually seltzer is the best stain remover!

Yes even vodka, try it. Whiskey stains, vodka does not. That is pure vodka, not the flavored kind.

My solution for most stains is Oxi Clean. If Oxi won’t get the stain out then nothing will.

I have no problem washing out chrain, or grape juice, but, I never tried orange soda, never buy it or drink it.Cola is good for cleaning car battery terminals.

try red kool aid! and then the grape juice of course…

Why not drink water? Bottled, Filtered any way you drink, it will not stain like Orange Soda or Coke. It is healthier, thirst quenching and refreshing.

When I was a high school student I had a 2 week summer job at what you Yanks would call the State Fair. I worked in the food building in a booth that sold hamburgers. At the close of business each evening we went to the next booth – the Coca Cola companies booth – and bought about 4 large cokes. These were poured on the grills and in barely an instant all of the grease was gone and the grills were squeaky clean. Since that time (about 50 years) I have often wondered what drinking the stuff does to our insides.

well, i was at the dentist, getting my braces on, adn he was using acid to etch my teeth. he so kindly pointed out that the acid is of the same kind found within coke… oh yum!

    It is healthier

Judging by a recent clinical study, it was found that both water and soda have approximately the same number of chronic diseases and visit doctors with approximately the same frequency. Therefore, neither one is healthier than the other.

Obviously, it cleans them out until they are squeaky clean.

always the orange soda thats spilling and making the tablecloth, your shirt etc. dirty

If people would drink their orange soda with two straws, as they are supposed to, they wouldn’t have these problems.

wow…billy mays really worked a number on you didn’t he…

by the way, for grape juice stains all you have to do is pour boiling water over the stain…it will come right out

bombmaniac : The late Billy Mays knew what he was talking about. Have you ever used OxiClean? So far, I have yet to find a stain that could defeat it. It is an amazing product. I know that there are now a lot of knock-off products but I haven’t tried them as I am still using the tub of powder that I bought over 5 years ago.

The dishwashing liquid DAWN is excellent for stains….

@Squeak I did not write, but omitted the word Purified in front of the word water. Orange Soda is full of food colours and unatural ingredients, will stain the Tablecloth or furniture. If I saw a bottle in in my home I would throw it in the Rubbish Bin. A decent Water Purifier (Reverse Osmosis) either fits on the tap or under the sink, and will purify your drinking water more so then unfiltered tap water. Given a choice which one would you rather drink Orange Soda or relatively Clean Water Purified water?

Squeak, aka Dr. Chepper, referred to your grammar- “more healthful” instead of “healthier”.
