Katanhadorah commented on the main site regarding tlaib
The Dems version of Steven King. Both parties have their crazies and the Dems need to move quickly to distance themselves from these haters. Too bad there is zero liklihood of ever getting a Third Party with moderates from both sides who want to get something done other than appeal to the zealots at both ends of the political spectrum
The problem is, is that the republicans already distanced themselves from king
From Fox News
Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, was stripped of his committee assignments by his fellow House Republicans Monday evening following bipartisan condemnation of King’s recent remarks on white supremacy and white nationalism.
“We will not tolerate this type of language in the Republican Party … or in the Democratic Party as well,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., told reporters. “I watched what Steve King said and we took action.”
Now the question is when will the Dumbocrats do the same to tlaib

coffee addict –
You do not like Tlaib because of her views on Palestinians vs Israel.
As she is a Palestinian and has family living in the Gaza Strip, her views on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict are very understandable.
She is doing exactly what all the Jewish congressmen who vote constantly in favor of Israel and can never find a single fault with what Israel does.
How can you compare that with King who wants to further his racist agenda against minorities in America ?January 15, 2019 5:08 pm at 5:08 pm #1663073
Jackk, she supports murderers. Come on, man.January 15, 2019 5:09 pm at 5:09 pm #1663074
First of all it was katanhadorah who compared them
2nd of all I don’t see Jewish politicians standing together with rabid anti Muslim white peopleJanuary 15, 2019 5:09 pm at 5:09 pm #1663075
You never answered the questionJanuary 15, 2019 5:37 pm at 5:37 pm #1663084
Trump and his supporters chanting for a ” complete and total shutdown of Muslims entering the United States ” is a perfect description of “rabid anti Muslim white people. ” Do you support him ?
1 – Which murderers does she support ? Please bring proof.
She probably considers Israeli soldiers murderers . I support every single Israeli soldier.
I answered the question. She only needs to be sanctioned when she says something that deserves sanctioning.
You have to start looking at things from her perspective and not from your own.
Do we live in Israel , Saudi Arabia or the USA ?January 15, 2019 6:03 pm at 6:03 pm #1663107
If any Jewish politician (especially a republican) would stand with a Jewish person that said those things about anybody let alone Arabs you would be hearing about itJanuary 15, 2019 6:36 pm at 6:36 pm #1663109
Trump never barred Muslims from entering the United States, follow real news not that cnn garbageJanuary 15, 2019 7:10 pm at 7:10 pm #1663146
Jackk, she sides with Hamas. Are you a Hamas sympathizer. Maybe we should consider the side of 1930s Germans. Get a clue.January 15, 2019 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1663131GadolhadorahParticipant
Her positions and rhetoric on EY and the Palestinian issues have crossed the line from simply a J-Street view of a two-state solution and condemnaion of the “occupation” to blatant anti-semitic hyperbole. On most other isues, especially domestic policy issues, she is clearly what we now call progressive but not nearly as far left as another NYC congresswoman who also has become a media star for the Dems. I suspect she will pull back the rhetoric over the next few months under pressure from her colleagues.January 15, 2019 7:12 pm at 7:12 pm #1663139ZionGateParticipant
C’mon now , “…… You have to start looking at things from her perspective and not from your own…”
You must. Be nice…… just because she refuses to think from your perspective , doesn’t mean you should do the same.
You MUST be fair, and realize that though Gazans have their own government, they do diddley for their people, don’t care a hummus platter for them, just spend gazillions$$$ on tunnels and rockets to attack Israel, shouldn’t effect your crooked thinking..
Coffee, where do you live?? In Israel, Saudi Arabia or in the USA?
Now cut it out … I can hear you murmuring that she too lives in the USA and is now a Rep. So what? She’s allowed and you’re not…She has family in Gaza , dontcha know, and I don’t give a frog’s belch if you have same in the apartheid state, you’re an American.
By any chance, do you happen to know any Muslim kahuna that sees OUR perspective???January 15, 2019 7:12 pm at 7:12 pm #1663141ZionGateParticipant

jackk, i’m glad to see somebody in these comments who actually can understand what the other side is going through and that criticizing the government of Israel is legitimate.January 16, 2019 11:16 am at 11:16 am #1663368
You posted that you were responding to coffee addict when you were responding to me.
I will repeat what I just posted a few minutes ago that this thread is exclusively about comparing her to Steve King. That is what I was referring to.
It is not a debate on her views of the Israel Palestine conflict or who is in control of Gaza.
It is not a debate on Hamas or Hummus. It is not a debate on ISIS . Not is it a debate on authoritarian dictatorial governments that kill people – like Putin, Saudi Arabia and Erdogan.
Since people might suspect me of being on her side – I will say again that I disagree with her about everything she says regarding Israel.
But everyone here who lives in the malchus shel chesed in Galus USA , needs to remember that for the next 2 years there is a Palestinian/Muslin lady in Congress who will be giving her opinion and taking the Palestinian side of this conflict.January 16, 2019 11:17 am at 11:17 am #1663364
Coffee addict and 1 :
I do not agree with her at all on anything she says about Israel or Palestine. She hasn’t advocated the death of anybody.
This thread is only about comparing her to Steve King.
I pointed out the difference and why she is not being censured.
I don’t have to respond to stupidity like “get a clue.” Why the YW moderators allow this Onoas Devorim to be posted, I am not sure.
You have both proven my point that she has not said or done anything that deserves censuring from the body which she is a part of – the congress of the USA.
if Trump would have repeated constantly ” a complete and total shutdown of Jews entering the United States ” you would not be satisfied that he only blocked Jews from 5 countries. You would be rightfully mad at the anti-Semitic rhetoric that got him elected.January 16, 2019 11:47 am at 11:47 am #1663372
I only have to mention one word and everyone will agree that there is legitimate criticism of the Israeli Government – “GIYUS”January 16, 2019 11:48 am at 11:48 am #1663383GadolhadorahParticipant
Some argue that th Republicans have “already distanced” themselves from King and somehow that sets them up on a higher madregah than the Dems. Really??? King has been making these types of increadingly racist an hateful comments for over 10 years to nearly total silence from the Republican leadership under 3 leaders. The Trumpkopf honored him by making him an assistant Campaign chairman in 2016. Finally, in a desparate effort to head off even more draconian democratic efforts, including possible expulsion from Congress, the “fearless” Repulican leadership gets behind a watered-down resoluton of censure condemning racism an white-supremacism. The reality is that the leadership of BOTH parties has been slow to immediately call out and denounce the racist and hateful rhetoric on their extremes. To characterize the Republican leadership postion on King as a “Profile in Courage” is hysterical.January 16, 2019 1:07 pm at 1:07 pm #1663439
Jackk she aligns herself with Hamas that’s an accessory to murder. I used to think like you. Wake up.
