March 1, 2011 4:12 am at 4:12 am #836280cshapiroMembermy sister is in israel, but shes up north, near haifa, anyone know a good shaloch manos place, that will deliver to kiryat motzkin???
March 1, 2011 4:29 am at 4:29 am #836281always hereParticipantcshapiro~ right off the bat– there’s an ad at the top our very own YWN’s home page: to Israel, free delivery to Yerushalayim.. check it out.. // sorry, I recycled my weekend papers already, but there certainly were ads– local & international listings.. Hamodia, Yateed, also all the local free Jewish papers & giveaway magazines should also have relevant info. g’luck! 🙂
March 1, 2011 4:49 am at 4:49 am #836282aries2756ParticipantOnce you fulfill the mitzvah by giving to two people it doesn’t matter when you give to others. If you are sending to someone because you are extending a gesture go for it, it is a win win situation for all concerned.
March 1, 2011 5:16 am at 5:16 am #836283cshapiroMemberi just checked them out…they seem a little pricey and im sure they will charge a lot to deliver it up north…i think ill just fill a box with american candy which i know she likes and send it to her school via the usps…
March 1, 2011 9:45 am at 9:45 am #836284m in IsraelMemberaries2756 — correct except the mitzva of Mishloach Manos is fulfilled by sending to only 1 person (and sending that one person 2 types of ready to eat food items.) Matanos Leevyonim is required to be given to 2 poor people.
March 1, 2011 6:18 pm at 6:18 pm #836285✡onegoalâ„¢Participantm in Israel- In conjunction to what you said “and sending that one person 2 types of ready to eat food items” I would just like to add they should be of two different brachos.
March 1, 2011 6:20 pm at 6:20 pm #836286YW Moderator-80Memberthey do not have to be two different Brochos
