Ok ok last one hopefully (sorry for derailing but I really think this will be fascinating for ujm and maybe others as well. Besides it’s hot off the press)

Reading these comments, I feel like I’m reading aceint European anti Semitic propaganda.
    1. Chassidish girls mostly don’t shave.
    2. Chassidish men don’t call their wives “her tzi”, except in very rare circumstances.
    3. Chassisdish couples are allowed to sit near each other by parents’ seudos.
    and much much more…

Of course Ger is another story…

Fanatic: There’s nothing wrong with shaving, saying herr nur (or herr tzi) or with separate seating at home. In fact, all are beautiful Yiddishe minhagim, whether it is your minhag or not, and gidrei tznius. The Shulchan Aruch says that the more gedarim you have for tznius, the better.

So nothing is antisemitic. If it were, your faulting Ger would be no less antisemitic on your part.

Actually if I could sit down with a Ger woman, I’d love to wrap my head around that one

I know of a shidduch between a Ger young man and a Litvish young lady.

So are you saying that Ger chassidim are LESS likely to be supportive of a “mixed” marriage? Is that also true of those Ger who follow R’ Shaul Alter’s hashkafah and those who might arguably be less fixated on the “takunes” with respect to one of their kids finding a Litvish beschert?

    mdd1,

A review of posts by Joseph/UJM show that he has a visceral disdain for females, despite his delusional claims of marriage to multiple wives. His comments in favor of “higher tznius standards” are actually a reflection of his deep-seated desire to see women confined, restricted and made invisible.

@Fanatic: In certain large Chassidish communities, such as Satmar, Vizhnitz, Belz, Ger, and Bobov, the overwhelming majority of married women shave their hair.
