I always stop for a minute to say a kapittal of tehillim whenever i see a hatzalah ambulance or car it would be nice if everyone would do it.It would only take a minute of your time and it can save someone else’s life.October 1, 2009 3:30 pm at 3:30 pm #661160haifagirlParticipant
That’s a great idea. Thanks for sharing.October 1, 2009 3:33 pm at 3:33 pm #661161workingMember
A teacher once told us that it is a very nice inyon ( dont know how to spell that) to say the kapital shir hamalos mimamakim every time you see an hazalah run by or you hear of a cholah. I personally say this kapital every time I get an email for tehillim- I dont just look and say how sad.October 1, 2009 3:42 pm at 3:42 pm #661162

yoyo, We would appreciate it if you would take a few seconds and write out entire words. We old moderators get headaches trying to figure out multiple contiguous abbreviations. Thank you.October 1, 2009 4:13 pm at 4:13 pm #661166

bygirl31: thanks, I was struggling there for a sec, oops! i mean second.
It’s great to say a kapitol tehillim, but why assume the worst?
Perhaps a woman is having a baby & deserves a Mazel Tov!
We hav 2 think positive! I say if it’s a simcha, Mazel Tov!
& If C”V not please send them a Refuah Shleima
& I say a kapitol tehillim.
(I know, I know, a woman giving birth needs a refuah too)October 1, 2009 6:55 pm at 6:55 pm #661169
but when you see an ambulance it could be a mazel tov or a refuah shleima…us outsiders dont know. so u say the kapital- it can be a bakasha or it can be thanking Hashem…a kapital tehillim never hurt!October 1, 2009 7:05 pm at 7:05 pm #661170bein_hasdorimParticipant
of course! & after that one, it wouldn’t hurt to say another one in thanks to HB”H
for the health that he grants us.October 1, 2009 7:08 pm at 7:08 pm #661171
