All I hear in that song is “I am worthless and who I am depends on what others think, say or make of me.”

everyone out there who identifies with that song: GIVE YOURSELF SOME CREDIT!!!!!

    you are in control!!!!

don’t let other people determine how your life will be and take responsibility because you are the only one who can!!!!

I know life can be tough and painful, and everyone feels like they need space, but the worst thing you can do to yourself is kid yourself into thinking that what you are and who you are is due to what somebody else has said or did.

Take the blame and take the credit in life. it’s only fair. your struggles and your triumphs belong to you alone because you are the only one who has the power to make decisions about who you are going to be.

so keep your chin up and be a man.

If we’re talking about the same song- I googled the lachatz song and I got a video on ywn, then you can figure it out for yourself. It sounds like a rap. It sounds like a variation of a non jewish song. It’s “Yeshiva Bochur style”. That is NOT yeshiva bochur style. It sounds like a non jewish song and therefore has no place on ywn.

yeshivaguy45 – we are talking about the same song.

Love the song. I mean let’s face it, there are problems with the system. Will a song change anything? Definitely not. Does it make you think? It makes me think.
