Russia continues to lose the war.
They continue to commit war crimes.
They continue to kill civilians indiscriminately.
The continue to send unskilled and inexperienced soldiers to the front lines to die.
The day of reckoning for Putin is coming.November 11, 2022 1:29 pm at 1:29 pm #2137542philosopherParticipantI agree; -Putin is a mass murderer. However, I’m not crying over the murderous Ukrainians, they are the same war loving, barbaric people as the Russians.
November 12, 2022 7:13 pm at 7:13 pm #2137568mdd1ParticipantYou have been swept by the ignorant and biased media frenzy. Learn the true facts.
November 12, 2022 8:31 pm at 8:31 pm #2137624Sam KleinParticipantHashem runs THE ENTIRE WORLD and has an account for every person and country including these two countries currently at war with each other and the Shocking message directly from Hashem that Hashem sent down the minute the war started on February 24 2022
Today’s tragic wake up IN ACTION HAPPENING NOW call message sent directly from Hashem upstairs to klal yisroel that was no coincidence.
Message:
World War 1, World War 2 And the Current War of the Invasion of Russia into Ukraine which can Chas Vshalom bring the world today to another world War 3 if we don’t wake ourselves up to serious Teshuva and Achdus together ASAP
All 3 Wars if you put the numbers of the date each war started they all come out to the same Gematria numerical Value number of 68
World War 1 started on
July 28 1914
That’s 7+28+19+14=68World War 2 started on
September 1 1939
That’s 9+1+19+39=68Current Russian invasion to Ukraine War started on
February 24 2022
That’s 2+24+20+22=68Do you know what’s the Numerical Value of 68? Chaim/Life and what is the Message from Hashem? Hashem runs the entire world from every country to every tiny city to every person and it’s all in the Power and Hands of Hashem the decree of every person like we say on Rosh Hashanah every year Lchaim Vlo Lamavess. (To life and not vice versa to death Chas Vshalom)
Do you think this is all just coincidence that ALL 3 WARS come to the same gematria numerical Value when you put their starting dates together? Or do we all know the truth in life that “THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS COINCIDENCE” and everything has a direct wake up message from Hashem.
Do you think you can find this message in any Sefer in the world or any Gadol Hador speaking said this? This War is in middle of happening now and if we don’t wake up from denial and accept Hashems wake up call for serious Teshuva and Achdus ASAP who knows what this war can become C”V. we don’t need a world war 3 C”V
November 12, 2022 8:52 pm at 8:52 pm #2137633ujmParticipantMDD, is your comment directed to the OP/Jack?
November 12, 2022 9:44 pm at 9:44 pm #2137638Reb EliezerParticipantSam Klein, I think you should do teshuva. By creating gematrios on goyishe dates you are elevating the a’z and גדול עונו מנשוא, the sin to do that is greater than one can carry. To encourage people to do teshuva must be done through proper means otherwise that teshuva has no value.

November 13, 2022 3:01 am at 3:01 am #2137648Sam KleinParticipantReb Eliezer
If klal yisroel all together today went completely with the Hebrew calendar even in the diaspora all over the world then Hashem would send the shocking messages directly relating to the Hebrew dates they happened on R”L.
but sadly today in Golus we all live and go by the goyish dates and calendar except for the yomim tovim and Rosh Chodesh etc . .. so Hashem sends these horrific tragedies hitting klal yisroel R”L Relating through the English calendar.
I beg you not to test Hashem and start living 100 percent of the time with the Jewish calendar only and see what happens C”V on those Hebrew dates if we don’t speedily wake ourselves up together as one loving nation to serious Teshuva and Achdus together ASAP and instead beg Hashem forgiveness and to send a complete stop to all suffering and tragedies in the world and send Mashiach already bkarov to redeem klal yisroel.
May it happen very soon if we wake ourselves up from living in Denial and FACE REALITY IMMEDIATELY.
November 13, 2022 3:02 am at 3:02 am #2137649lakewhutParticipantjackk why are you so happy? Ukrainians were some of the worst guards in the death camps
November 13, 2022 3:04 am at 3:04 am #2137650Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantI value this forum as I can meet here representatives of different lines of Jewish thought. I met most of them IRL also – from Sanderistas to anti-medinistas, from pro-Fauci to anti-vaxers … but the several people here who consistently post pro-murder remarks here make me wonder. I do not see them where I daven, am I not travelling in the right circles?! Do they sit quiet in shul, answering omen to the brochos of shalom? Do other people here meet such people in their shuls or yeshivos? What schools produce them? Maybe they are just russian trolls sent out to all corners of internets? or maybe some recent Jewish arrivals from Ukraine to the free world bitter at their former neighbors? Any thoughts?
November 13, 2022 9:10 am at 9:10 am #2137690philosopherParticipantAAQ, where have you seen anything written here that is pro-murderer? I have seen many times that you do not have good comprehension. I have read this read thread over a few times and nowhere have I read one word in favor of anyone being killed.
I have written that I’m not crying over the Ukrainians nor the Russians; nowhere have I said that I’m pro the murder of Slavs. Yes, I absolutely do not cry about a people who kept on committing numerous progroms against the Jews as late as the early 20th century, I do not cry about a people who helped the Nazis kill our people, I do not cry about a people who spilled rivers of the blood of my people and committed the most heinous crimes against them. If my non-caring equals being pro-murder then I feel so sorry for you that you would twist my words to defend the “poor Slavic nation” ( who fought between each other for millenia) against a “vicious” Jew like me…
Let me tell you even the Circassians and other nationalities care more about there murderered brethrethen than you. I have been in discussion with some Circassians who are are not as forgiving and forgetting as you are of your own people being killed and murdered in the most gruesome ways. No, they are not saying we are so excited that the Slavs are killing themselves, but in a recent discussion with a few individuals from that race, I realized that the Slavs have done great harm to many races, but only Jews will DEFEND these barbarians when Hashem is giving these people back what they did to our nation and perhaps to other races as well. Hashem cares more about the spilt blood of our ancestors than you and the likes of you who care more about the barbarians. In a few generations Jews will likely be defending Germans as well. They’ll say that Jews generally had a good history in Germany but since Jews did xyz that’s why the Germans got angry with them and committed the Holocaust…this is exactly the argument used to excuse the Slavs, particularly the “poor” Ukrainians, against the crimes committed against our people. But God remembers everything and that is a nechama to the victims.
November 13, 2022 10:51 am at 10:51 am #2137702Reb EliezerParticipantSam Klein, your logic is the Aruch Hashulchan’s view O’CH 75 about davening in front a woman’s uncovered hair. he says that since the women leider go like that, there is no hirhur anymore. However, the MB’s view is that two wrongs don’t make a right. We can look away when davening. Similarly we should find the messages through the Jewish dates.
November 13, 2022 12:06 pm at 12:06 pm #2137729Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantphilosopher, we are zoche to live in a world that at least externally recognizes the value of peace and a number fo countries, at least in Europe and Northern America, do not fight with each other for 80 years. Then, one country breaks these norms and attacks the other, a normal human response is to condemn that. If in response, you start contemplating what happened in these places in previous generations, it is just sick, in my opinion.
But again, my question was not really to you to explain your position, I think I understand it. I am asking the others whether they see people with such views in their communities.
November 13, 2022 12:36 pm at 12:36 pm #2137741jackkParticipantIt is possible to condemn Putin for starting an unprovoked war and wanting to see him be punished for it and also remember Jewish history.
November 13, 2022 1:12 pm at 1:12 pm #2137753Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantjackk, when there is a consistent reaction to current events with “BUT remember”, it is not a reflection of interest in Jewish history, but political support of the attackers.
And history is full of cases where such justification is used for a new attack, such as Germans justifying actions against Jews by a reference to Jews participating in 1918 revolution; attack against Poles by cases of Polish attacks against German civilians. See a recent 2015 book “The German war” by Nicholas Stargardt who brings together diaries and letters from that time.
November 13, 2022 2:52 pm at 2:52 pm #2137778philosopherParticipantAAQ, I called Putin is a murderer because I’m happy that people are being killed? My goodness, either you are not honest or you don’t comprehend what people are writing. I called Putin a murderer because he kills Ukrainians and send Russians to be killed in war and OBVIOUSLY I don’t support that otherwise I would not call Putin a murderer. That does not mean I’m crying for the Slavs who fought each other practically since they became a race and committed atrocities against other people.
Maybe with the exception of some Russian peasants who believe Russian propaganda that they are rooting out Ukrainian Nazis, no one is interested in a war, I believe even Putin himself would at this point like to stop the war but his ego won’t let him climb down the tree.
I believe I said this to you before, the world is not black and white, the world has varying shades of grey and has many colors and millions of hues. Not caring about the Ukrainians is a far cry from supporting war, supporting the invasion of a sovereign nation, supporting the killing of civilians or even soldiers many of them who were drafted against their will.
Furthermore, I strongly protest comparing my not caring of Slavs engaged in a (practically neverending) war with each other to the Germans actually engaging in the mass murder of millions upon millions of innocents, and in particular the Jews, because they felt they had an excuse to do that. That is incredibly vicious of you and I will not be engaging in any dialogue with you. Shame on you.
November 13, 2022 3:35 pm at 3:35 pm #2137784Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantI was trying to explain that the idea of always looking for past “sins” is dangerous. A simple idea of “do not murder” expressed in 10 commandments is much simpler. As an example, I brought the German population that, by itself, was not involved in any murders, they “only” supported it based on their understanding of how bad Jews, Poles, Brits are, or were in the past. So, the world being not black and white does not mean that we need to excuse murderers. If you do accept Putin’s culpability, there is no reason to discuss academic history of Slavs in the same sentence.
November 13, 2022 3:37 pm at 3:37 pm #21377891ParticipantJackk if the Democrats weren’t emptying the treasury for Ukraine would you be the same passionate? let’s be honest you’re a DNC hack

November 13, 2022 6:52 pm at 6:52 pm #2137809Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantphil, I am not taking your freedoms away from you, relax, I am just saying that it is unbecoming of an erliche person to discuss someone’s grandfathers’ deeds when the grandchildren are sitting in basements hiding from artillery. And sneaking grammar errors INSIDE the quote is also not nice.
November 13, 2022 8:24 pm at 8:24 pm #2137820philosopherParticipantSpelling and grammar errors is totally ok with me. Being a barbaric people lover and excuser is disgusting.

November 13, 2022 9:49 pm at 9:49 pm #2137826philosopherParticipantChas v’sholom, I’m didn’t mean to say that AAQ makes the spelling and grammar errors…I meant I constantly make those errors because of carelessness….I hope everyone can find it in their hearts to forgive me…
November 13, 2022 10:43 pm at 10:43 pm #2137850Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantI mean, you modified my words to introduce an error. When gemora says that quoting someone in the name gives olam habo, I presume they meant quoting correctly!
November 14, 2022 6:06 am at 6:06 am #2137876philosopherParticipantOk, we can’t have AAQ’s sentence modified…here it is in it’s entirety; “If you do accept Putin’s culpability, there is no reason to discuss ACADEMIC HISTORY of Slavs in the same sentence.”
Putin’s culpability is irrelevant to the fact that I don’t care about the war in Ukraine.
The Slavs fighting each other is an ongoing fact. it is not only academic history but a continuation of Slav culture. But again, that is irrelevant to the fact that I don’t care about the war in Ukraine.
What is absolutely relevant to me is the Jewish victims iliving in the Slavic regions who were murdered, raped, their possessions plundered for hundreds of years until the early 20th century! Then the barbaric Ukrainians fully participated in Holocaust and were at least as brutal, if not more so, than the Nazis. And Russians partisans often killed Russian Jewish partisans who were fighting the Nazis. This is nothing but ACADEMIC HISTORY to a Jew?!
November 14, 2022 6:06 am at 6:06 am #2137875mdd1ParticipantAccording to AAQ, the US has not gone to war in the last 80 years. Yep, sure.

Do you know how many Shuls, Yeshivos, Community Centers, Houses and Yiddishe Gelt were destroyed by Putin in this current war?November 14, 2022 10:18 am at 10:18 am #2137959Reb EliezerParticipantWhat about Iraq and Afghanistan? Wasn’t the US in war?
November 14, 2022 8:10 pm at 8:10 pm #2138202mdd1ParticipantJackk, what in the world are you talking about? How many shuls are there already in Ukraine? And again, Putin does not target neither the shuls, nor the Jews ,nor the Ukrainian civilians. Stop with the propaganda hysteria.
November 14, 2022 8:10 pm at 8:10 pm #2138203mdd1ParticipantJackk, AAQ, do you know that it is sakonas nefoshos to wear a yarmulke in the street in Ukraine?!? In Russia it is also dangerous, but in Ukraine it is worse.
November 14, 2022 8:49 pm at 8:49 pm #2138213Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantphil, whatever things happened on the territory of Russian empire for last several centuries, you need to acknowledge that people there, whether Russian or Ukrainian or Polish, are human beings, descendants of Adam Harishon. Many of their forefathers were criminals, but as many, if not more, were themselves victims of the Czar, Gulag, Nazis, etc.
Current generation of Russians seems to be following in footsteps of their fathers, or at least many of them at least support that. So, we add their sins to their fathers’.
Current generation of Ukrainians go to work, harvest wheat, vote, including for Jews, steal from the government, pay bribes, generally behave like 2nd world citizens. They do not seem culpable for whatever was done in their country before they were born. If and when they’ll start behaving the same way as Russians, I’ll join you in saying “no surprise here” and will not support them in any way. So, did we find a middle point to agree here?
November 14, 2022 8:49 pm at 8:49 pm #2138214Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantmdd1 > How many shuls are there already in Ukraine?
I don’t know. The first result by google search is

If you are looking for halachic guidance here: there is a recent interview by Rabbi of Moscow (who looks American or European and yeshivish) explaining why he ran away from Russia after the war started. He sounds like an expert. I suggest find his interview and go from there. Maybe contact him and ask.
November 14, 2022 8:49 pm at 8:49 pm #2138215Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantit is sakonos nefoshos to go have a yarmolke on your head, or in your pocket, in some parts of Chicago – should we let Russians bomb it?
November 14, 2022 8:51 pm at 8:51 pm #2138219Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantOk, my original question is still not answered –
do you guys know people with such pro-Russian opinions IRL? In your shuls? schools?Could you ask them where is their opinions coming from? People posting here do not explain their sources beyond vague hints that “they know better”.

November 14, 2022 10:59 pm at 10:59 pm #2138268🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantDearborn park is not a high crime area. Perhaps even Google facts are “off”?
November 14, 2022 11:31 pm at 11:31 pm #2138270Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantSyag, you are right. When I am zooming in on specific streets on data cityofchicago org, each street is relatively safe. Say, a (random) bloc near Kriser’s pet store had only 3 events this year: battery, criminal damage, attempted armed – handgun. I guess, it is a relatively low crime area. Maybe this helps understand our difference risk perception on other items. Here in Podonk, this would be an undesirable area to live.

November 15, 2022 2:17 am at 2:17 am #2138292jackkParticipantmdd1,
I can’t argue with you when we disagree with basic facts that are verifiable and have been publicized since the beginning of the attack.
Chabad and other Jewish organizations had been in Ukraine for decades building Shuls and communities. Putin destroyed it all.
The only propaganda is the continuous stream of lies coming from Russia when they started their “special military operation” to “de-nazify” the Ukraine.
Many Jews went to Uman for Rosh Hashana. Did they all walk around bare-headed?
November 15, 2022 7:19 am at 7:19 am #2138323mdd1ParticipantJackk, when there are a lot of Jews together, like in Uman on R. H, then it is different. It is difficult to attack a crowd.
Regarding the Chabad it is a blatant, verifiable propaganda lie!November 15, 2022 11:03 pm at 11:03 pm #2138641Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantfrom the silence, I conclude that others also did not encounter such views in their communities, so we have here people inspired by online propaganda somehow.
November 17, 2022 11:40 am at 11:40 am #2139284philosopherParticipantI have responded to AAQ last comment but it seems that the moderators won’t let it through. Seems like it’s ok that AAQ writing hurts me writing about “people here were inspired by online propaganda somehow” but I cannot respond to that. I do not forgive such a person and he should know it. Seems like some people get away with their disgusting statements that it’s ACADEMIC history when we discuss the Jewish history in the Slavic regions dripping with the blood shed by the Slavs, including AAQ’s beloved Ukrainians, but it’s propaganda when we don’t care them…Some people repulse me.
November 17, 2022 12:30 pm at 12:30 pm #2139176philosopherParticipantWhat an an idiot we have here, as well as a vicious, vile person; AAQ is the Jewish idiot who loves non-Jews and hates Jews. November 17, 2022 12:30 pm at 12:30 pm #2139291philosopherParticipantNow the world is angry at Zelensky for saying the Russians hit Poland with the missile while it was most likely a Ukrainian missile. Everyone is claiming that Zelensky wants NATO to join the war and we should have a WW3… I’m embarrassed that the president of Ukraine is Jewish who is fighting a Ukrainian war and we Jews will have to get blamed for whatever Zelensky does that is bad, including shnorring billions of dollars of aid from the US and instigating WW3…I hoping that further research will show that it was a Russian missile (that is highly unlikely though) because Zelensky is still claiming that it wasn’t them and it will look really bad if it was indeed a Ukrainian missile.
November 18, 2022 6:29 am at 6:29 am #2139753Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantphil, let me clarify –
I take no position on what happens in Ukraine. As far as I know, it is a typical Eastern European 21th century country, like Romania, Hungary, Poland, former Yugoslavians, with probably enough of corruption, violence, and what else. The only thing is that they are dying under bombardment and may start freezing without electricity soon. And Russians who are doing it to them may turn to other countries later on, with a minor chance of WW3 … What is the point of connecting current events what happened there 100+ years ago, I am not sure. If you like to apply your energy to proclaiming aveiros of goyim, surely you can start with the aggressors. Maybe you can explain further what is your point here. -
