What are some good beis medrashim in Ey for your average black hat american 1st year place (high schools like sharei torah, yesodei, YOT)

Tomo and Mercaz Hatorah are the first places that pop into my head.

It would also be nice if “they” consolidated usernames.

Tomo (short for Toras Moshe) is a black hat non yeshivish place. It’s run by Rabbi Moshe Meiselman. Mir is also a good choice but most people don’t go there in first year. Torah Ore is a first year place. There’s an american section and an israeli section.

If you wanted a really top beit midrash in E”Y, you’d go to Merkaz HaRav or Gush Etzion.
