Ever wonder what would happen if we treated Torah as we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it as if we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we travelled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go….hmm…just where is my Torah today?

    Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about Torah being disconnected because its calls never fail.

    And no missed calls!

Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities’?

    Well said Joe.

This is very true but sad

A Jew is given three times a day to pray and what do we do,we use it as a “news catch up session”. No matter where we are up to in our prayers, if we recieve a text or email, we have an urge to look at it even if we saying the Amida.Maybe even reply to it. This is an absolute disgrace to what Praying is all about. Its not all about connecting with your broadband, its about connecting with G-D.

    To YEEDLE FROM LONODN:

Welcome to you. I dont recall seeing your name before. How you doing, old chap? How far from london is lonodn? I assume its a typo. To change it, when you log in the coffee room at the top of the page click on your name where it says welcome. Have a jolly good day!
