Whats the percentage of milk fat required to call ice cream ice cream?

opinions aren’t true or false – they are OPINIONS. as far as other things, i believe the percentage of truth is high. unless of course, the cr members are having fun and joking around – but then it’s kind of obvious when that happens.
you seem to be a very negative and bitter person. it shows in all of your threads. if that’s really how you are then i am sorry for you. but perhaps, just perhaps, you are one of those who do not post HONESTLY, and you’re just “pulling our legs”

The answer to my question is at least ten percent if it has less than that the United States does not recognize it as ice cream.
In the U.S., there are federal standards[2] for butterfat content of dairy products.[3][4][5][6] Commercial products generally contain the minimum legal amount of fat.
* Milks
o skim milk contains less than 0.5% fat, typically 0.1%
o whole milk contains at least 3.25% fat
* Cheeses
o dry curd and nonfat cottage cheese contain less than 0.5% fat
o cottage cheese contains at least 4% fat
o Cheddar cheese contains at least 50% fat relative to the total solids
o Swiss cheese contains at least 43% fat relative to the total solids
* Frozen desserts
o ice cream contains at least 10% fat
o lowfat ice cream, also called ice milk, contains not more than 2.6% fat
* Creams
o heavy cream contains a minimum of 36% fat
o manufacturer’s cream (not federally regulated) contains 40% fat
* Butter (including whipped butter) contains at least 80% fat

Based on this thread, I would guess that ice cream’s other threads are to prove that anyone can say whatever they want here.
If someones response helps you, then it really shouldnt matter if its the truth or not.
I’m not saying i lied. If i have to say one good thing about myself, its that i dont lie, at least not intentionally. It bothers me when i find out that people lie. I’m a very trusting individual and my feelings get hurt easily when i’m lied to. But i am used to it to a certain degree. this world is the olam hasheker after all.
Do i care if someone here starts a thread as if he/she is a female and then starts another one as if he/she is a male? a little. so i wont respond to their posts or i’d just ignore them.

Um… I only have one screen name. No connection to miritchka. And that’s 100% true. Whether anyone wants to believe that , it’s up to them.
Ice thinks that since Gefen was the first one to get annoyed with his style, then any one of the other 100 people that have also gotten annoyed by him, must also be Gefen. He’s accused her of being Midwesterner, Miritchka, moskidoodle, EVEN JOSEPH!, and one or two others at least.
Ice-cream: lol! although i do feel a connection to many of gefens posts, there is no connection between the 2 of us that i know of.

To say caution watch out there’s stalkerS on this site. Fine ok good that’s for a purpose. But to actually go out of your way to publicize someones name is totally immoral and incorrect not to mention a total corrupt way of dealing with things…
