    s2021,

I hope you took my joke in good humor.

My favorites were always chess and Stratego (does that date me?).

Lets talk about board game strategies.

My strategy in Risk is to be suicidal. I announced one time that if anyone attacks me, I will focus all my attention on that player, and we will both lose. The next game, nobody attacked me.

Scrabble! I’ve played in three languages: English, Spanish, and Hebrew.

    #768347

Backgammon. It’s the only board game I play.

pba – good strategy; though if i try it on my kids, they won’t be too thrilled.

i like a game that they don’t make anymore called, “Who’s it?” i keep trying to get my kids to play with me.

though they prefer monopoly, risk, and chess.

as a child- Life; in college- Chinese checkers; as a young married- Bridge (yes, it’s a card game); with my children- Rummikub; in my bungalow colony days- Scrabble; with the grandchildren [oldest are 6 y.o.]- Uno (yes, cards again).

Junior Trivia-I skip the board and just let the kids answers all at once. It’s great on a long shabbos afternoon.

Scan. It’s an old game; I don’t think it’s around anymore, but we have it from years back. Basically, there’s a card with a certain pattern on it. All around, you spread a whole bunch of cards with different patterns. Aim is to find the matching card. Great for concentration and attention!
