    Perhaps not but the Nazis and their collaborators would not have had the manpower to deal with an armed group resisting nor would they have been willing to deal with the amount of casualties that group could have caused.

    The Nazis did what they did despite the “partisans” making armed resistance. The Nazis killed 10 in revenge for every one of theirs killed by a partisan.

    It could have helped more Jews survive and defend themselves. If the Warsaw ghetto had a United front they could’ve been more successful. Without an armed Israel the state of world Jewry would be perilous today.

    How many partisans were there to cause a German loss ?

    The partisans never faced mass Nazi roundups and mass murder. It would not have been something the Germans would have spent so many soldiers on. The partisans had a lot higher survival rate than those who weren’t partisans.

    The Warsaw Ghetto uprising was foolhardy from the start, never had a chance and caused needless Jewish deaths as a result.

    Whose life would have been saved had the Warsaw Ghetto uprising not happened?

    Had those in the ghetto had arms (1) it would have had a lot better chance (2)many people would have been able to escape the ghetto altogether.

    While there is some debate whether Rav Menachem Ziemba and other Gedoley Torah in the ghetto supported it absolutely no one claims to have heard from them that they oppose it

    Not true. It wasn’t needless people were desperate for survival. They were starving and living in terrible conditions.

    UJM how did the US the most powerful army get driven out of Vietnam by people with much less resources? Armed resistance. It helps.

    Potentially any life lost when the Nazis razed the ghetto, and whoever was in it, to the ground.

    America was winning in Vietnam. But Americans got tired of losing American servicemen.

    UJM yes but the people of Vietnam fought them with guerilla tactics. The US didn’t win. Vietnam is still a communist country. The US mission failed.
