Reb Eleizer no I didn’t know that.
So that’s a great role model for us all
A leader Who allows himself to be coerced by his subordinate into making what he believes is the wrong moral choice.
Amazing leadership qualities there. A true role model for us all. Thanks for clarifying.

reb elizezer dont bring USA today article(and yes i read it) that Biden didn’t threaten to hold back money from Ukraine if they dont fire prosecutor when Biden said he did

JOE BIDEN, 23 JANUARY 2018: And that is I’m desperately concerned about the backsliding on the part of Kiev in terms of corruption. They made—I mean, I’ll give you one concrete example. I was—not I, but it just happened to be that was the assignment I got. I got all the good ones. And so I got Ukraine. And I remember going over, convincing our team, our leaders to—convincing that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev. And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.

So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said—I said, call him.

    (Laughter.)

I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, . (Laughter.) He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.

Well, there’s still—so they made some genuine substantial changes institutionally and with people. But one of the three institutions, there’s now some backsliding.

moderator please let comment through this time i took out the bad words that Biden said

This questioning in the impeachment trial is a waste of time because they only ask there political advocate and not the otherside.

The Baal Akedah explains the meaning of הרהורי עבירה קשה מעבירה ratinalizing wrong doing and explaining it. I saw this in the impeachment trial quid pro quo is ok because helping his election is for the benefit of the public.

I can’t find the thread about Bloomberg but he’s another donkey in the room we must address

Why are the democrats changing the rules for the Las Vegas debate so he can join?

    Are they scared about Sanders?
    Are they scared about trump?

It’s 2016 all over again for them

To CTLawyer: I hope that in the presidential election that counts, i.e., the one in November, you will vote for the Democratic nominee. A vote for some third-party candidate is de facto a vote for Trump. I was one of the foolish voters who voted for Anderson in 1980, instead of Carter. I don’t recall whether the Anderson voters deprived Carter of a victory, but I regret now regret not voting for Carter, the president who brokered the peace between Israel and Egypt.

Any answers why the democrats are rigging the election

    1) in regards to Bloomberg

    Syag,

Originally the rules to get onto a debate was you needed a certain percentage of supporters and a certain amount of donors

However since Bloomberg doesn’t take donations he doesn’t have any donors

So they changed the rules mid primary so he can join the debates

Coffee, to put my answer in (personal) context
I started a thread here with the basic premise being Bloomberg is the only one in afraid really has a chance to beat trump.
So you know where my Political hopes lie.

As far as Bloomberg is concerned, they need to at least reexamine the rule. It’s not a chok.
It’s purpose is to keep non serious contenders from crowding the stage.
But since that rubric doesn’t apply to him, they need to reevaluate his participation and judge his allowance based on different metrics. It’s not so crazy. I think it’s totally logical

Crazy Bernie. Much as they hate trump, they fear him. He will destroy their whole power apparatus if he gets in. They will stop at nothing to keep him out
