Why don’t you just attend college regularly? It annoys me to see that some people are always looking for the easy way in life today. Hard work ethic was something that never needed to be taught when I was growing up. Please understand that I’m not criticizing you specifically since you may have a valid reason. However, its disheartening to see people always looking to accelerate college. To me that’s an oxymoron. I will always send my kids to a full college program.

Yes, you are correct. It was once a non kosher establishment but now is kosher. I work in the city and go there often. The pizza is great also!

POPPA BAR ABBA:”If you want to know whether he is responsible and productive- ask about something else.”

I vehemently disagree with your post. Minyan= consistency. Those people who daven early in the morning every single day are the ones that are sucessfull and responsible. They have a set schedule and and will not deviate from anything. My father has been davening at the same 6:30 minyan for the past twenty years and always underscores the importance of minyan.

However, the people who show up to an 11:00 minyan are those that don’t have a plan or set schedule. They are inconsistent. How will they show up at 9am every morning when/if they get a job? Those are the people whom I would not want to marry if I was a girl.

Crazybrit: Not really sure. Google “ipod nano 1st gen recall” and you will see all the details. Apple will ask you to supply a serial number to see if your ipod qualifies for a replacement. Hope this answers your question!

I think the best way to approach the problem would be to consult with her and tell her that you are trying to become more religious. If she respects your decision then you can continue to have a normal relationship. However if she does not respect your decision then you’re in a quandary. You must decide if you would like to break up with her so that you can better yourself and become “more frum.” If that is really important to you then you will find it easy to break up with her. Anyway, good luck and take the time to think about this. This decision will play a major role in helping to shape your life.

My friend was at a wedding and while he was dancing he vomited all over the dance floor (it wasn’t because he was drunk). The whole area smelled and dancing stopped for around 5 minutes while the waiters had to clean everything up. Now that is what I call embarrassing!

DaasYochid: There is no reason to speak in such a condescending manner when referring to co-ed schools. It is unfair to both the parents and kids who attend the school. You must respect each and every jew regardless of how religious they are. I have 3 sons that attend the school and all I can say is that it is a terrific all-around school. Please respect others!

There are very few high schools in Brooklyn that have a good English department. However, Yeshiva of Flatbush has a terrific English program along with good Hebrew studies.
