@[anti-]satmer: Moshe Rabbeinu said it on a מלחמת מצוה to conker Eretz Yisroel for the purpose of building the Beis Hamikdosh as commanded by Hashem. In contrast, the Zionists established a [non-]state, against the the Halachah, against the will of ALL Gedoile Yisroel and above all against the will of HASHEM for the purpose to shmad millions of torah true Yidden! Now they want us to join them in clearing up their mess – sorry, not offering!
Not quite correct; while processed foods did not exist 100 years ago, gebroks and mishing are likely century old minhagim, if not within the families, certainly within various kehillos.
Firstly I would like to refer you to an explicit Teshuva of the late Rav Wosner ZT”L on this subject in his Shevet Halevi (you will find the exact location in the index).
Rav Chaim Kanievsky also made it clear that people should daven all tefillos with a Minyan during Bein Hazmanim.
Secondly given the many tragedies and dangers r”l during the holidays people are certainly advised at least to do some proper davening with Minyan.
