Sometimes it just depends on what is available. It’s very hard to find good sneus clothes out of town for most ladies and the in-town cost is very high. Obviously tight is not ideal but it’s better than the inverse. Each person should pick their battles. When it becomes a klal issue the gedolim will speak up.
