If you don’t want to be vaccinated, then don’t. Vaccine demand exceeds supply. There’s not much that can be done for this pandemic. Mask, vaccine, theraputics, social distancing, isolation. Most people who contract Covid-19 will have a mild case. Some will wind up in the hospital, and some of those will die. The risk from vaccine is far less than the risk of contracting a severe case of Covid-19.

I’ve had my second Moderna vaccine shot. Sore arm, some muscle ache, headache, mild chills. Easily recoverable. Far better than friends and relatives who’ve contracted Covid-19 ranging from 4 days of flu-like symptoms, hospital stays with lingering symptoms, and I know five people who have died from this disease.

Better to get vaccinated than roll the dice. Of course, if you don’t want the vaccine, there are plenty of others who will gladly take your place in line.
