    Not only is “the dream” not over, it is what will save all of you in chu”l. When your world comes crashing down you will be thankful you have a safe haven to run to.

    Thank you to all for your responses.

    Joseph – My research has been telling me that the boys in the top MO yeshivas (KBY, Shalavim, and Gush) are just as serious as the boys in some of the charedi yeshivos that have been mentioned.

    Certainly if you go to their websites, their sedarim/full day schedules seem quite rigorous and on par with the charedi yeshivos.

    For example, KBY seems to have morning seder 6 days a week, and then seder on Motz”S! I dont know if the boys all go, but that is quite impressive.

    What if you’re not looking for the boy to “flip out”, but to continue to be MO, but also be a serious ben Torah with yiras Shamayim.
