Joseph and Charlie,
In Baltimore, my congressman claims to be pro-Israel (probably because his district covers many Jewish communities). But he’s just as pro-Israel as he is pro-Palestinian. He’s not liked for many reasons. It’s not about making a change in the Iran deal. It’s about making a change in the upcoming election outcome and having them realize that we do make a difference. Also,German Intelligence has shown that Iran has attempted to violate the deal more than once.
nathanfederMemberThanks everyone for the replies.
As for Joseph’s response to what makes for a “Jewish response”, I think we are both aware of the different Jewish “styles” of responding depending on who your Rav is or whichever bias you prefer within the frum world. Joseph, if not caring about nuclear chaos (specifically though construction in Iran) and the lives of thousands isn’t a concern for you, I would indeed recommend laying low.
nathanfederMemberThank you, Joseph. But I am trying to find out how I can best utilize my right to the First Amendment.
