Any girl or their parents in the parsha of Shuduchim should make it absolutely clear that they will not be interested in anyone who smokes or had a history or smoking.
A campaign like this hopefully will make these so called “Men” think twice about smoking.
From the context of when “Business is Business” was said, it implied that in business the Torah does not apply. And if it does apply why do people use it?
Also, does the express apply only to non Jews!!!!!!October 26, 2010 9:18 pm at 9:18 pm in reply to: Time For Truth: Why Won't You Date A Ba'alas Teshuva? #710065
A man should use the same criteria whether she is a BT or FFB or a Convert. If he a really feels that he needs a B’sulah or someone with good Midos or from a good family etc, then if a BT or convert also has his qualifications why would he not be interested!!!!!!
A diamond is a diamond, no matter where it is found.
In Business they say “Location, Location, Location”
In Shaduchim they should say “Midos, Midos, Midos”October 25, 2010 7:56 pm at 7:56 pm in reply to: Time For Truth: Why Won't You Date A Ba'alas Teshuva? #710012
The problem is more with the parents than the person.
Many non religious parents consider it “as slap in the face” when their children don’t forfil the parent’s ambition when they become religious and then you and your children’s relationship with them can become very challenging to say the least
