There was a minor fire at WalMart in Monticello, Thursday night. The Monticello Fire Department was called to reports of smoke at the same time as the MVA on Anawana Lake Road and Route 42 (just across the street from WalMart). The incident was under control in a short time, and the store was opened for business.
