After a long night of tireless work by Misaskim and Chaveirim of Rockland, the victims of the horrific plane crash – Boruch Taub Z”L and Binyamin Chafetz Z”L – were released on Friday morning.

At approximately 10:45am, the Niftarim were being loaded onto an airplane from Hatzolah Air, and were being flown to Cleveland for a Levaya and Kevura to take place before Shabbos.

Misaskim and Rockland Chaveirim were on the scene from around an hour after the incident, and worked closely all night with NTSB and other Federal, State and Local authorities to ensure proper Kavod Hames, and to ensure a timely Levaya and Kevura on Friday.

The Levaya for Binyomin (Ben) Chafetz Z”L will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00PM at Berkowitz-Kumin Memorial Chapel.

The levaya of Boruch Taub z”l will take place Sunday morning 9:30am at Berkowitz-Kumin Memorial Chapel. Kevura Mount Olive Cemetery, Shomer Shabbos section.
