NYC’s Democratic Boro Presidents Endorse Kalman Yeger

“I am proud to endorse Kalman Yeger for City Council. Kalman is exactly the type of strong, capable, and selfless public servant we need in the Council,” said Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams. “I’ve known Kalman for years and I have witnessed his passion and commitment to our neighborhoods. Kalman’s experience in government and public service is the reason I have repeatedly re-appointed him to his community board, where he has served with honor and integrity. Kalman understands the challenges facing our borough and our city, and he is exactly the right person to tackle those challenges.”

“I’ve known Kalman Yeger for years, and he is a bright, tireless, community-focused leader who knows what his neighborhoods need and has the experience to know how to deliver it,” said Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer. “It’s my pleasure to support Kalman for City Council and I look forward to working with him.”

“Kalman Yeger will be a fresh voice in the City Council, and I am proud to support him,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. “I have been friends with Kalman Yeger for many years, and I know he possesses the right combination of both legislative knowledge and constituent advocacy to secure the proper resources and attention for the community he serves. I urge all voters in the 44th City Council District to join me in supporting Kalman Yeger for City Council in the general election on Tuesday, November 7.”

Kalman Yeger is the Democratic nominee in the 44th Council District.

“New York City’s Borough Presidents are champions for the communities they serve,” Yeger said. “Having served six years under a Borough President, I know firsthand the hard work they do. I’m honored to have the support of the four Democratic Borough Presidents: Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., and Queens Borough President Melinda Katz. I look forward to working with them over the next four years as we strengthen Borough Park, Bensonhurst, Midwood and all of our neighborhoods across New York City.”

Yeger is the Democratic and Conservative Parties’ candidate for City Council in Brooklyn’s 44th District on November 7th.
