Houston Jewish Community On Alert After Threats

fbi1.jpgPeople in the city of Houston are on edge – following two threats made against the Jewish community. Although the threats are being called ‘vague’, precautions by the Houston police have been put in place.

According to KHOU/11, the first threat was when an Israeli flag was found on March 9th crumpled with hate messages scrawled on it at the front door of a Southwest Houston synagogue. The report also says that there were also threats written on the flag.

The second threat occurred on March 11, when a bomb threat was mailed to the Jewish Community Center.

The region’s FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force says, that although they are taking the threats seriously, they are very generic in nature, and there is no credible evidence suggesting anyone specific is in danger.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees any suspicious activity to please call the police immediately.

Why are you amaazed?, doesn’t the Pasuk clearly state:
    דברים פרק כח
    ובגוים ההם לא תרגיע
“You will not have rest among the nations”

We need to pray in ernest for the “Geulah Shleimah”
