Kevarim Vandalized In S. Africa For A Third Time In A Week

Four kevarim were vandalized in the Jewish cemetery in Strand and local police suspect the attack was the work of a neo-Nazi group. The Vice Chairman of the World Zionist Organization stated “These incidents have become a world trend. They must be stopped immediately before we see the murder of Jews”.

The vandals targeted four kevarim in the latest attack and the Jewish community filed a complaint with police. This was the third anti-Semitic incident in a week, as similar attacks occurred in two Jewish cemeteries in the area. Vice Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, Yaakov Hagoel, addressed the attacks, citing, “These attacks are spreading like a fire in a field of thorns and have become a world trend. These incidents are most serious, and they must be stopped before we see the murder of Jews”.

In his words, “South African Police are responsive to stop these attacks and the government of S. Africa must work against these incidents. If indeed this is the work of a cell of neo-Nazis, they must be apprehended as soon as possible”.
