WATCH THIS: Schumer Blames It All On “Climate Change”

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Thursday that extreme flooding in the New York area from Hurricane Ida illustrated the need for concrete legislative action on climate change.

“Woe is us if we don’t recognize these changes are due to climate change. Woe is us if we don’t do something about it quickly,” Schumer said at a press conference with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D).

“When you get two record rainfalls in a week, it’s not just coincidence,” he said. “Global warming is upon us and it’s going to get worse and worse and worse unless we do something about it, and that’s why it’s so important to pass … the infrastructure bill and the budget reconciliation bill.”

  1. This has always been the answer for all Paroh’s of the generations that need some way not to recognize Yad Hashem… At least Klal Yisrael should wake up and do teshuva

  2. Why does recognizing the Yad Hashem and the impacts of climate change have to be in conflict with each other? I assume many fine frum yidden listen to weather forecasts? Understanding how the climate works is not such a bad thing.

Maybe think about it like this. Warming enables wetter weather hence the Teva is it is more likely to flood, the Yad Hashem is whether the confluence of events occurs that leads to such a result. Kind of like if you live near a volcano you have a greater risk (Teva) of what happened to Pompeii, but it actually happening is the Yad Hashem.

So knowing climate change makes these things worse (unless you in your knowledge disagree with all the scientists that seem to agree it is pretty likely) why would you not want to take actions to improve the Teva? In other words, we call that hishtadlus… For example, your income is determined on Rosh Hashana but you need to do histhadlus still (many explain that your income is determined that if you put in a certain amount of histhadlus you will make that income, not that you will make that income doing nothing). Why is this so different?

  3. ““Global warming is upon us and it’s going to get worse and worse and worse unless we do something about it, and that’s why it’s so important to pass … the infrastructure bill and the budget reconciliation bill.”“

And don’t forget critical race theory and illegal immigration

  4. You mean it wasn’t caused by Donald Trump using his demonic powers to punish states that overwhelmingly voted against him in the last election (and note, he spared Louisiana). How can we take Chuck seriously anymore?

  5. por, that’s because those who don’t agree keep very quiet about it, or else go find another field. Or they are simply reclassified as not “real” climate scientists.

“Climate science” is a tiny field, ruthlessly controlled by a small clique of criminal supporters, Marxists, and general enemies of liberty. Anyone who disagrees with them is cut off from funding, cannot publish, is made an unperson. These frauds control the peer review process and automatically approve each other’s papers while rejecting anything that disagrees with them. Their purpose is not science but politics. And their goal is the downfall of western civilization.
